Onesubsea choose Chris Barratt Joint Integrity Solutions for employee training ahead of Congo deployment.
Chris Barratt Joint Integrity Solutions and their Industry Training Partner, Stork, implemented a Hydraulic Torque Training Course for two of Onesubsea employees on Friday 20th April at Stork’s Training Centre in Dyce, Aberdeen.
The training course was a fundamental requirement for the project that Onesubsea are to execute for Total in Congo, West Africa.
David Richardson and Daniel Craig of Onesubsea who completed the training explained that the project will be completed in two phases out in Congo for Total, with the first phase taking around 4 weeks at an onshore facility, closely being completed with the second phase offshore.
Chris Barratt said
The course that was specific for Onesubsea’s project was the ECITB MJI 10/19 and was specifically requested by their client Total. The course covers Hand & Hydraulic Torque methods for bolted connections on flanges and clamps within piping systems.
Having Stork as our Industry partner for training, allowed us to complete the training at short notice to enable Daniel and David to mobilise this week out to the Congo.
